This annual competition celebrates the artistic skills of kindergarten through 12th grade students and provides a platform for them to showcase their unique perspectives through the camera lens.

A total of $20,000 in cash prizes were awarded to this year’s winners! In each grade level, the 1st place winner received $1,000, the 2nd place winner took home $500, and the People’s Choice winner—selected through public voting—earned $100.

We’re incredibly proud of every student who participated, whether as a first-time competitor or a seasoned photographer. Even more exciting, we are thrilled to announce that two of our students from Texas Online Preparatory School were among the winners!

Join us in congratulating these exceptional young photographers:

In my backyard, my family has planted milkweed to attract more insects. This isn’t an insect, but still fun, nonetheless. A small snail on a leaf!”

We couldn’t be prouder of Wyatt and Lily for their incredible achievements in this year’s competition. Their unique vision and dedication truly shined in their photography, and we can’t wait to see how they continue to evolve and flourish as artists.

Texas Online Preparatory School is committed to providing opportunities for our students to explore their talents and passions. The success of our participants in the K12 Photography Competition is a true testament to that. We can’t wait to see even more inspiring entries in future competitions!
